Throw

Throws are integral parts of the Jitsuka’s armoury. They involve manipulating the balance of an attacker to cause them to fall forcibly to the ground, so the Jitsuka can restrain them or make an escape.

There are many different classes of throws, including 'gari' (reaps), 'guruma' (wheels), 'gake' (props), 'goshi' (hip throws) and 'otoshi' (drops): you can find individual entries for most of the throws Jitsuka learn in the full list of techniques. You can also find out about certain kinds of throws and the "guidebook of throws", the nage no kata, from the list below.

[this is good] I am having trouble w/ my Soto Momo Harai.

Please describe the throw. I think there is something I'm missing.

Soto momo harai isn't on the Jitsu Foundation syllabus and isn't commonly taught in our style, so I'm afraid you'll have to ask your instructor, unless anyone else can help out.
