Uki-goshi (floating hip throw)
Uki-goshi is a “half hip throw”. Rather than turn all the way round so that you are facing the same way as the attacker, you only turn halfway, placing your hip against him. You then draw him onto your hip, before twisting him and dropping him to the floor.

City Jitsu Club trains twice a week near Angel and the Barbican, London, EC1, at City University, Northampton Square, Islington.
