Sumi-gaeshi (corner throw)

A sacrifice throw that is part of the nage no kata. It is similar to tomoe-nage except you put your foot on the attacker's thigh instead of his stomach and try to project him over your shoulder and to the side rather than straight over.

City Jitsu Club trains twice a week near Angel and the Barbican, London, EC1, at City University, Northampton Square, Islington.
