About us
City Jitsu was founded in 1997 by its current instructor, Peter Hamer, who is a second dan black belt. Originally based at the Sadler's Wells sports centre, the club now trains at City University and has over 30 members.
The style of Jiu Jitsu taught at the club, shorinji kan, is relatively modern and is taught in the UK by the Jitsu Foundation, to which the club is affiliated.
Training is twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays; standard price for a two-hour session is £5 students and the unwaged pay only £3 per session.
You can find out more about the club, the Foundation and Sensei Hamer from the rest of the site.
